David Dondero, Van Stanley

 

David Dondero is a singer/songwriter and guitarist currently based in Austin, Texas. Dondero began his musical career as a drummer in Duluth, Minnesota at the age of 10. Dondero has released nine albums over the last 13 years through a variety of record labels including Team Love and, most recently, Ghostmeat Records. NPR's All Songs Considered named Dondero one of the "best living songwriters" back in 2006. He has toured with Crooked Fingers, Against Me!, Bright Eyes, The Mountain Ghosts, and another band coming to Fitzgerald's in November - Tilly And The Wall.
