Balmorhea is a six-piece instrumental group from Austin, TX. Rob Lowe and Michael Muller founded the band in 2006 and have since produced five full-length albums - one of which is their October 2012 release of Stranger. Balmorhea is anything but lazy. They've toured the US and Europe more than a handful of times and have played shows with notable bands such as Fleet Foxes, Here We Go Magic, and Deer Tick. Additionally, the band has performed at major music festivals including: Austin City Limits Music Festival, SXSW and Fun Fun Fun Fest, and the Hopscotch Festival.
